Q:    How do I become a member of Lord of Life?
A:    You can become a member of Lord of Life by:

  • Baptism in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
  • Transfer or reaffirmation of faith, for those who have been confirmed in a Lutheran church.
  • Attending membership classes, for adults who have not been baptized or confirmed in a Lutheran church. These classes offer an opportunity to explore the teachings of the Christian faith and become familiar with Lord of Life Lutheran Church.

Q:    How do I transfer my membership to Lord of Life?
A:    Contact the church office to begin the transfer process, which involves a “New Member visit” to meet with Pastor.

Q:    Do I need to be a member for my child to attend Sunday School?
A:    All children, 3 years old/potty-trained and older, are welcome to attend Sunday School, held from 9:30 am to 10:30 am.

Q:    What Bible classes are available for adults?
A:    Lord of Life offers numerous opportunities for growing in your Christian faith. Check out the Adult Bible Study page for a complete list.

Q:   How do I set up a baptism for my child? Do I need to be a member?
A:    You do not need to be a member for your child to be baptized. Parents should contact the church office to set up a pre-baptism appointment with Pastor David or Pastor Caleb. Baptisms are usually celebrated during the Sunday morning worship services at your preferred worship time. Private baptisms are also an option.
